David Jones replaced Joseph in the starting lineup and Chinedum Ndukwe started for Jackson for the second straight week.
Cincinnati backup tight end Ben Utecht was inactive with a chest injury.
Placekicker Lawrence Tynes (knee) missed his third straight game for the Giants, while backup cornerback-punt returner R.W. McQuarters was out for the second straight week with a calf injury.
