--Speaking about the flood of rumors indicating a trade for a wide receiver, general manager Jerry Reese got just a tad testy. --The Giants will open and close the 2009 season exactly the same way they did last year, with a season-opener at home against Washington and the season finale on the road against Minnesota.

--When asked whether the Giants were pursuing any trade with Cleveland for WR Braylon Edwards, Reese responded: "I'm not talking about Braylon. That is somebody else's player. He is under contract and there is nothing to talk about."
