What's next for Antonio Pierce in the legal proceedings sparked by Plaxico Burress' accidental gunshot wound two weeks ago?
"If somebody's a lawyer or works in the police department, they can give me that information. I'd like to know, too," the Giants linebacker said yesterday. "I don't know."
Pierce did confirm that he spoke with investigators a week ago. "I talked to them; that was it," he said. But Pierce, who was with Burress at the Latin Quarter when the gun went off, said he is unclear if he will be asked for further information.
Pierce's attorney said last week that he would cooperate if asked to testify in front of a grand jury.
Meanwhile, a New York Post report said Burress, Pierce and Ahmad Bradshaw visited a strip club before their visit to the Latin Quarter. Online surveillance video posted on the Post's Web site purported to show the three at the strip club, although the person in the video does not appear to be Pierce. Still, Pierce didn't deny he was there.
"Hey, it's a video," he said without having seen it himself. "Somebody had a camera; that's good for them. I can be where I want to be."
