The former New York Giants star has been signed by Fox Sports as an NFL studio analyst, a source within Fox Sports has confirmed.
The move will be formally announced in a press conference at 1:30 p.m. ET Tuesday.
Strahan will join host Curt Menefee and analysts Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Jimmy Johnson on the award-winning FOX NFL Sunday pregame show.
Strahan retired earlier this month after a 15-year career with the Giants that saw him set franchise records in career sacks (141½) and games played (216). His final game came in Super Bowl XLII, in which he had three tackles and a sack during the Giants' stunning 17-14 upset of the then-undefeated Patriots.
